Welcome

Our Holy Name Society at St. Andrew's, Kenmore, NY, is the men's spiritual, support and social organization of the parish. For the last 30 years we've supported the church, St. Andrew's Country Day School and their different needs while maintaining an active social calendar of monthly, informative meetings, bowling and golf leagues as well as a regular craft show and chicken BBQ dinners that help fund our charitable efforts in the parish.

Florence Styka had been chair of the parish Right to Life committee for more than 15 years before her death. Fritz, a long time Holy Name  member, was joined this morning by his son Gary and daughter Laurie Styka Bloom at the dedication and blessing conducted by pastor Msgr. Richard Siepka. Remembrance!

This Sunday, June 6th, is the 66th anniversary of the D-Day invasion by allied troops on the Normandy beaches of France. It was that invasion that rang the eventual death knell to Hitler's control of Europe a year later in 1945.  This anniversary is a good day to remember and pray for the many who lost their lives during that heroic battle. (Photo of the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach, Normandy, France by HNS member Dennis Golombek.)

Congratulations!

Congratulations go out today to our former pastor the Rev. John P. Mack Jr. who today is celebrating his 25th anniversary as a priest here in the Buffalo Diocese. Remember the next 25 years will be easier. God bless you!
